Hicks, 1876 -1927 and on the same stone Polly Ann Hicks, 1882 - 1954. They are in the Bomar Point Cemetery which is near Wilson, Oklahoma. I am descended from a George W. Hicks who m. (1) Alice Hice (?) (though the 1910 census show wife's name as "Annie" and marital status for both as second marriage). George and Annie were in Carter County in 1910, but their oldest child was born in Texas. Could this possibly be your James's brother George?
