You are a wealth of information . I never tried the searches, dummy me. I have visited with Jack and we are still trying to find more on that trading post. I am going to have to go to the library and check out the censuses in that area. I have read the Love County History book and it talks of the cattle drives that came just west of Overbrook, near the old McAlester Cemetery, then on toward Lone Grove. It doesn't talk about a trading post though.
