Regarding Healdton City Directories. I don't know if they have a library in Healdton but if they do, they will probably have the directories. Also, the Greater SW Historical Museum in Ardmore (which is the county seat) has many directories...don't know, however, if they have Healdton's...This might help...DRice

He married in the Chickasaw Nation of Tishomingo Co / Ravia to Tennie Jimmie Aug 1899. Tennie was b: 1878 d: around 1903-04. George is card number is 875. They lived in Ravia and surrounding areas.. They had a son by named Clarence Crummey b: May 06, 1902 and he is enrolled as a citizen of the Chickasaw Nation in Ravia (Muskogee) Tennie is listed under a diffrent card # and later George is listed under Dawes roll # C650/C651. I DO HAVE THEIR MARRIAGE LICENSE AND CLARENCES INDIAN BIRTH RECORD. However, I can NOT find a trace of Clarence, not even through his land allotments I would like to know what became of Clarence (death record, military, social security?) and who at this time is the land alloted to? Another person is my grandmother Lillian Elizabeth Lenhart b: not known for sure but thought to be Ok d: 1974-75. She was Choctaw Indian and very, very tall. 6'6". I was only 5 when she became ill and she wanted to return home to die on her home land...I think that would either be Durant, Duncan, Pauls Valley ( I was born there 1969) or Ardmore / Tishomingo..... I tried to go through the state but have found nothing except what I have given you. I would really appreciate any help you may have to offer. He was killed in an oil well explosion in Sanford, TX in 1926 and he left a wife and four children. I do not know their names. Bryant's brother was injured in the same explosion. He was Claude K. I'm sorry but I don't know any of the names you listed. I didn't know that my grandfather Huffman was there until I found him in the 1910 census. At that time his mother's married name was Botle. My Grandfather married a Lissie Gunsolus, daughter of Elisha and Martha (McClanahan) Gunsolus. Martha died around 1907 and i believe she is buried in the old Berwyn cemetery but haven't been able to find her grave as they didn't have a marker apparently. We have been to the Gene Autry Museum but unfortunately that was the day of the Gene Autry Celebration and we didn't get to look for pictures of the towns at the museums. There were just too many people. Do any of the names I have mentioned have any meaning to you? Thank you for replying. Lucille.

I was born with a serious life threatening condition and he along with other doctors saved my life and repaired the condition. According to what I was told by my mom, I was the first to survive this birth defect at that time. My mother , Aileeen Johnson Staples was a long time nurse at Hardy Sanitarium. I have been in contact with a lady that has pictures in that time frame. My computer crashed and I lost her name but she will contact me on the 26th of Oct after a visit to Ardmore for a class reunion and also to visit her mom who was also a nurse in that time frame.
