A sincere Thank You to all. First, for allowing me to vent my frustrations at your expense, and second, for all the really supportive replies that were received since last night. I printed the majority of them and took them to work today. You folks should have seen the faces of my co-workers as they read the responses. Every one's spirits were lifted, we forgot our worries and faced the new day with a renewed since of pride in what we were doing for our customers. Please forgive me for not answering each of you personally. The first message was sent to 4 lists and the response was overwhelming. Just know that you have brightened the day of MANY utility workers in several states who have seen and read what has transpired here in the last 24 hours. Sincerely, Kim Collins

They died in 1926. Do I understand correctly that I can get these records through the county and not the state? If so, do you know the cost? I would also like to get an address to Rose Hill Cemetery. Thank you, Kathy
This is for those of you who have chosen to criticize your electric, phone and cable companies for not responding to YOUR needs in this time of crisis. We (the employees of these companies) have worked night and day to restore service to you, our customers. Most have called in independent contractors in order to expedite restoration of your service not even considering the expense of such measures. Now for the kicker, many of US were without electricity, phone and cable ourselves. We were away from our families for the Holidays working for you. As for myself, I was called to work early in the morning the day after Christmas (a company Holiday) and finally got to see the damage to my home and trees at 4:30 this afternoon. Today is the first time in a week that I have seen my children and wife for more than a few minutes per day. They think I'm a stranger, but Hey, I'm working for you! Get real and get a grip folks. This is about ALL of us. Not just you!!!!!! The next time you see a utility worker THANK him for his sacrifice instead of giving him a brow beating because you don't have service yet. WE ARE DOING OUR BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also you might go to Ardmore and visit the Daily Ardmorite newspaper and view their microfilm. Also contact the Okla Historical Society In Okla City. Good luck. Ron Staples
