(She may have resided there as Lou Gilcrease) (John N may have been a Marshall or a railrod employee) John Belk Gilcrease and Gladis May Clatterbuck Gilcrease. They had a daughter named Ruth Roland Gilcrease who died at about 6 weeks and is buried in Dillard around Sept 1921. (Gladis was a daughter of Lula Bell Mooneyham from a previous marriage to a Sidney Francis/Franklin Clatterbuck) John B & Gladis son (my dad), William Christian Gilcrease, who was born on March 16, 1918 in Wirt. Any information you can provide on any of these names will be appreciated. If there is a cost for processing this please let me know. Like I said, he never spoke about his family. I'm thinking he came here in the 1910's and started life in MN. He then came down to Dallas where he did the finishing master carpentry work on the Magestic Theatre. Then he ended up in OK. Maybe if we both keep digging we can help each other. Good Luck Tootie

    3. Is there anyone who is planning a trip to the Ardmore Public Library in the near future? If so, I was wondering if someone would please look up 4 obituaries for me and send me copies with the source of information too, in other words, the name of the newspaper, date obituary published and, page number. The obituaries would be in the newspaper already on microfilm. I will glady pay anyone who will get them for me and send them to me. One obituary in 1931, one in 1953, one in 1956 and, one in 1980. I will provide more detail to whoever is willing to help. I have been told that the Ardmore Public Library may have the newspapers but they can't do the lookup. It would be difficult for me to get them myself since I live in Northwest Indiana. Please let me know if someone can help. Thank you. John W. PEGG
