I was an adopted child and my new mother had a mental aberration and my dad put me there because he thought I would be safe. Mother threw such a fit and hired a lawyer to get me out. As it turned out we moved from Oklahoma City to Abilene, Texas, so I could attend a Church of Christ college. My mother completely lost her mental connection and I was her only care giver for 18 years. She lived to be 98. Did Nina play the piano? What is she doing now? I often wonder what happened to those girls. Over the years I was in so many different homes. Later....... Hi, I am looking for information on Mary Jean Branson born April 10,1942. I am not sure where she was born but she had a brother named Charles Ray Branson that was born Aug 14,1944 in Riverside,California. Charles was given up for adoption on April 1,1946 in Claremore Oklahoma. Claremore is where her parents were from. From info that I have received...Mary Jean was placed in the orphanage in Pryor at about the same time. Mary Jean was picked up from the orphanage at a later time (no idea when) and lived for a time with her dad, leaving home when she was 16. Mary Jean died March 12,2007 in Houston Tx. I am hoping that I may get a lead from her orphanage papers (if such a thing exist) to find Charles. Charles was adopted by Harvey C. and Ruby Strauwn. Harvey and Ruby had been Charles's foster parents. Charles's name was changed to Harvey Strauwn after his adoptive father. I would appreciate any help. Thanks, Linda
