    1. [OK-NATIVEAMERICAN] High-jacked address book
    2. High-jacked address book I'm sending this to you because you are in my address book and I hope you didn't get any of the not-so-nice messages the hacker sent out. This message is to serve two purposes. One is verify that your address is still good and the other to let you know that my e-mail address list got high-jacked recently. (No need to respond unless you just want to, if this message doesn't bounce I'll presume the address is good.) If you were fortunate enough not to receive a bogus e-mail from my screen name - lucky you! To those of you who got one (or more) - Sorry! Usually there is a link somewhere in the message and if you click on it you will see an ad for a Canadian Pharmacy, a Work from Home ad, or some sort of physical enhancement offer. I'm sure this is how I got high-jacked. I did receive a few of these e-mails from friends and I clicked the link thinking they had just forgotten to include information in the subject line. That won't happen again! However, I now know I need to update my address book as I've received at least 400+ bounced messages. Thus far, I've had both my laptop and my home computer checked - no viruses, malware or spyware, so I contacted AOL and they checked my account and yes someone had hacked in and in fact, was currently using it. They called it a “compromised account.” So they deleted that account, I changed my password and security settings and according to them my account is now clean! My user name is still good. Therefore if you receive any e-mail from me it needs to have something in the subject line that sounds like it came from me. I don't just forward mail (such as :RE or re:8 or no subject), there should always be a good subject line noted. Please don't click on any links that look suspicious! Billie

    3. While going down each line of my Shadrach/Shadrick family of NC to VA to MO to OK... I came across my early ancestor, Harvey D Shadrach's g-granddaughter, Nellie M Shadrick Spicer. Nellie is dau of Mitchell Shadrach and Mary Frances Thompson, born in Va and removed to OK.? I have always thought that my Shadrach/Shadrick family is Amerian Indian for?many reasons and wold like ot learn more.? ?My question is concerning Nellie who married Lemuel Jasper Spicer in 1917, Creek Co OK.... I find Lemuel and his father James J Spicer in many Indian Census Schedules at the Seneca Quapaw Reservation near Wynadotte, Ottawa OK.? Many times he is named Jasper Lemuel Spicer..in any case, both Lemuel and his father James are shown to be 1/2 AmerIndian.?? Please pardon my ignorance, but?does the absence of the wife in each of these many census records, indicate that she is "white???? In some instances more children are born into the family, but no wife shown for Lemuel or his father James J Spicer. In one census record, this Reservation called Quataw, rather than being shown as Seneca Indian, says Eastern Shawnee, Ottawa, Quapaw, Seneca, and Wyandot Indians.? Information from Jasper Lemuel Spicer's WWI Draft Registration is: WWI Draft Reg Card Info: Jasper Lemuel Spicer age 22 16 S. Oak Sapulpa Okla. b. Aug 12 1898 ir 1894 last number is hard to read. natural born in Wyandotte Okla Truck driver Pennoak Oil Co. 1/2 Indian married .................... Aside from these questions, does anyone know anything of my Shadrach/ Shadrick families of Granville Co NC....I suspect they moved in VA in order to escape Eastern Removal...While Harvey Shadrach's ancestry includes Ward and Paschall families in NC with native ties, I feel there is more Indian ancestry in his family as well.? Nothing proven and while I'd like to know, it is something I know in my heart and have no need to prove it.?? Any and all info welcomed. Thanks Debbie in VA Eastern Shawnee, Ottawa, Quapaw, Seneca, and Wyandot Indians.? 2. Hi, Thank You very much for the reply. I don't know where Leona or Oscar were born, I'm not even sure of what her given name was. For some reason, my family didn't share much of their history & nobody kept very good records from back then. I'm pretty sure that Clifford Myers (my grandfather) would have been a member of the Choctaw tribe, if he was a member at all. I'm now the manager of our local library & once my training is complete, I'll have access to Oklahoma census from back then. From both Indian Territory & OK territory. Should be interesting reading.
