Sorry, correction Rootsweb is not in Bakersfield it's about 50 up on the Grapevine in Frazer Park on the way to Los Angeles CA, It also snows up there in the winter & they are usually about 20 degrees cooler than we are. Yes we had a big storm yesterday, it never dawned on me that they might have had a power outage, because when it got real bad, with the big rain storms we had last winter, Brian 4 wheeled out to the I-5 & went to LA to get a generator. So part of Bakersfield did have an outage, but where I am we just had the lights flicker a lot.
