Thanks, nt ================================================================= Greetings USGenWeb members! As we all know, the month of July was a rocky one with the very first elections held for USGenWeb and the discussions about the bylaws. Today the elections are history, the bylaws are now in force, and the new board takes the reigns for the next year. The coming year will be an exciting one, and I'm sure a challenge, as we all try to figure out exactly where we are and where we are going as a project. I don't expect the next year to be any easier than the last year has been. We are still in our infancy and will undoubtedly continue to have growing pains for several years to come, but with everyones help and cooperation, we'll make it. I know there are some administrative things that we will be working on during the next couple of weeks and some new ideas and suggestions that will be presented to the board shortly. I am listing below the names and email addresses of your board representatives. If you have a question, a problem, or a suggestion for us, please contact your county coordinator rep, state coordinator rep or special project rep. I'll do my best to not disappoint you. To those who also ran in the election but not elected, I thank you for running. You are all winners in my book. I would like to take this opportunity to also say 'Thank You!' to Megan and the members of the out-going board. I know that the past year has not been easy for you, but you stuck it out for the benefit of USGW. I might not have agreed with everything you did, but I'm also smart enough to know that not everyone will agree with me and the new board all the time either. I truly hope that we don't have any problems of the magnitude you tackled. I wish all of you nothing but the best and thank you for your service. To the new board members, I look forward to working with you. Onward and upward! Respectfully, Nancy Trice National Coordinator <trice@vci.net>
