    3. Yes, Rootsweb's headquarters are near Frazier Park.. in the mountains between LA and Bakersfield.. We drove up that steep winding road in the rain last sping.. and the higher we got, the colder it got..(and we had the car, not the 4x4, and were starting to get a little nervous before we got to the Leverich's).. but we had a great visit with Brian (who is a native of ....OK!) and Karen. As Rootsweb grows, their NOCs are sprouting up all over..in NE, in TN, in Boston and in various places in southern CA (there's one in Redondo Beach too!) <grin> The NOC where the main server is currently located is in Bakersfield, although I understand that it is moving to a new home with a propane powered generator maybe as soon as next week! .. The information that I passed on last night was from the messages that Karen Issacson sent to the USGW Board..
