Martha Canady (cancom@nettally.com) has volunteered to lookup names in the old census records for the Cherokees and Creeks. She has access to the census records from about 1848-1908 in the archives in Tallahassee, and also to Cherokee by Blood and Creek by Blood. I have typed in several letters that Creek Indians wrote from 1825 to about 1829, and they are currently at http://www.rootsweb.com/~gatroup/creekletters.html These are primarily concerning WiIliam McIntosh and his death, and the move west of the Mississippi, starting with the Chilly McIntosh Party in the winter of 1827-1828.
