Based upon the large amount of support that we received for Kathy Heidel from the cc's in the SW/SC region Betsy and I recommended, and the Board approved, that she be appointed to fill the vacant position of CC rep for the SW/SC region until the next scheduled election as required in Art VI, Sec 8 of the Bylaws. Kathy Heidel has accepted the appointment and is the new SW/SC CC rep. The next scheduled election will be held in or about January 1999 for the purpose of electing a new National Coordinator. This CC rep position will also appear on the ballot as required by the bylaws. Imformation concerning nominations will be available in the near future.
