Yea or Nay? Logos, no! From the perspective of a first-time visitor: I'm still on dial-up, so I do NOT like to encounter a page cluttered with unnecessary graphics. Often, I find such pages have so little to offer in the way of actual information that I don't bother to go back. From the perspective of a long-time CC: Too many logos can actually drive away some of the visitors we want to attract [see above]. But they can also create unnecessary work for the CC. Right or wrong, the use of a logo still implies some level of affiliation -- and that perception DOES result in questions about the external site. In turn, those questions chew up time in correspondence that could better be used working on the site itself. Links, yes! I add any that I find useful myself, on the theory that some of my visitors will also find them useful. Since I've started labeling them as external links and putting them in a separate section or on a separate page, the extraneous corresponence has plummeted. I realize that this is more than you asked for, but I'm answering through the list in hopes that the additional information will be of help to some of our newer CCs. When I answered yes to the logos question, actually what I thought everyone meant was external links of some kind or another...although this is most probably a moot point by now...I'm sure they won't be allowed, very little is... - Linda Oklahoma
