I believe that most of the programs we are using to create our pages, has the availability to add updates that you can set to be placed anywhere on a page that you want it. Using this would make it very easy, updates are automatically set every time we work with a page. One other thought. Many of our researchers have any idea what the differences are between a text page and a html page. So with the updates added to the pages they at least know if new information has been added or not. If we would all set back and think about our beginning computerized genealogy, and the number of hours we spent reviewing pages, just to realize that nothing had been added sence our last visit to the page. As a researcher I don't want to spend my time reviewing a page that has had nothing added to it, when I could be checking out other pages that do have new items on them.
