This book is still in print. I bought one online a couple of weeks from Books-A-Million.com. I would check with OU Press and also call the history department of OU. John Wesley Morris was a history professor at OU. He's also written several other books which are also available. If you do happen to find that he is still living let me know. His picture on the back flap bears a strong resemblance to my late wife's father. His mother was a Morris and his grandfather was John Wesley Morris that died in 1946. From what I found, it appears he was previously married before he married Harrietta Tackett around 1900. He was born in 1866 and she was born about 1880.
