To David and Marti, This latest request for Andrew J. Boney place of burial near Sayre is finished. It took a couple of phone calls and information was obtained. I have called the sender and left a message for him to return my call so that I can give him the needed information. Glad this worked out so easily. Blessings, Judy in Roger Mills County
Hi I don't know of anyone that answers the Beckham Co requests locally. I am in Roger Mills County, but I happen to be traveling to Elk City in a couple of days (40 miles) and I will be glad to answer this request....If there is someone in Beckham County who DOES this, please call me at 580-497-2106 so we can coordinate some of our requests. Blessings, Judy
The librarian at the Sayre Public Library looks up obits in the newspapers. She has also done all the cemeteries, as far as I know, and they are online. I am new to family searches, and I am trying to find the cemeteries where (1) Effie Aline Willard ( who's maiden name was apparently something like Efie Alene Thaxton) is buried and I am also trying to find the cemetery where (2) Dave Willard is buried. All that I know is that Effie (or Efie) died in either 1916, 1917 or 1918 and is buried " with Bill at Crowder Prairie, 10 miles south of Boswell, Oklahoma" and that Dave Willard died in 1918 and is buried "18 miles east of Caddo, Oklahoma". Do you have any clue how I can locate the cemeteries where they are buried? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Roger Thaxton
