I have had an interest in the Cherokee Strip Live Stock Association since I heard family stories about how our family once had a ranch the equal of the 101 Ranch of G. W. Miller. Our family range in the CSLSA was most of western modern day Kay County. Up until recently there was a real lack of information about this subject. It seems that just about everyone knew it existed but knew nothing else. Well, lately there has been a lot more information added to the internet. I've been collecting just about everything I can find and have started a web site for those interested in researching the the history of the Cherokee Live Stock Association and the genealogy of it's members.
