We have a familey member stone that was extremely hard to read. Clean the stone of dust and other things that will brush off or will come off with water. Let dry completely. By using lithographic ink and a real good small sable artist brush you can re-letter the stone where letters were origionally cut. You must be very careful and take your time. This ink is permanent.
