    3. ----Original Message Follows---- From: "Jacqueline Davidson" <[email protected]> This is a long shot, but could you see if there is a Walter Davidson, his wife Georgia, or Caroline Davidson there? I do not know where in the world they are. May be in Oklahoma, and may not.... TIA Jackie Jackie, I don't know where in the world they are either, but they are definitely not listed in my Bryan County books. 3. This is just a tip for people new to genealogy. If you can possibly get to a LDS history center, or a large public library, you will find you can locate your ancestors much faster if you order a Soundex for a certain date and state. The price is only about $4.00 and is well worth it. All residents of the state with a similar sounding name will be on the census if they lived there. This will tell you the county and the page of the regular census. This is just about a must if you don't know what state or even a county your folks came from. Try it, I'll bet you find someone! 3. This is such a good idea about obtaining Soundex census files that I'm going to go to my LDS center this Saturday and order them! I've been wondering how I can research my line from Missouri, and now I know how to begin. Thanks so much, Penny. Do the files come on a CD, and how long will it take for them to arrive? Are the files easy to read? Also, do you have any other tips on how I can locate info on my Missouri kin? Stephanie
