YAY! Because of your help, earlier today I found the graves of my G-G-G Grandparents: Samuel & Sarah Ackley under a large cedar tree at the Sinnett Cemetery. There were 17 other Ackleys amidst other tombstones nearby with surnames of: PRICE, BOGGS, ZICKEFOOSE, McCOLLOM, and GAROUTTE. (if any one is interested, contact me) You mentioned having 17 Ackleys in your database, Mahlon. We found 19 legible tombstones. You may want to add these two new markers: 1. ACKLEY, Loyd - b. 3 MAR 1925; d. 28 SEP 2000. (I was curious about him and searched the Tulsa newspaper archives for an obit, but only found a death notice for him as having been a resident of Cleveland) 2. ACKLEY, Thomas A. - b. 27 JUL 1930; d. 23 SEP 1999. (The Tulsa "World" newspaper had a notice of his death in the 9/24/99 issue under "State/Area" deaths for the town of Adair) I snapped photos and wrote down the names/dates for my Ackleys, but don't know whether it is appropriate for me to list them here or not.
