    1. [OK-CEM] Oklahoma's Family Group Sheet Webpage UPDATE
    2. Kathleen Burnett
    3. 34 Oklahoma family group sheets have been added to the Oklahoma's Family Group Sheet Webpage this week. To visit the site go to http://www.rootsweb.com/~okfamgrp/fgs.htm A few reminders when submitting your Family Group Sheets (FGS) 1. If you do not add your name and e-mail address to the submission, the FGS will be deleted. 2. If there is more than one marriage..submit the second marriage on a second FGS 3. If you think of something you forgot to add on your FGS do not re-submit the entire FGS. This second one will be deleted. Send the correction to me, at KathleenBurnett@earthlink.net and we will take care of them as soon as we can, but understand it may take awhile depending on how many family group sheets we need to upload and how many corrections are ahead of you. Place in the subject line CORRECT FGS (and husband's full name) We appreciate your support. Kathleen Burnett List Mom

    1. [OK-CEM] New Message Board
    2. Linda
    3. Good evening, Saving Graves/Oklahoma now has a message board where you can post anything that has to do with the preservation, locating, canvassing, photographing, of cemeteries in the state of Oklahoma. For those of you with an interest in helping these sometimes neglected treasures come by the website, there are counties to adopt if you are so inclined. If you don't want to take charge of an entire county maybe you'd like to do some transcribing of a cemetery. If you know of an endangered cemetery in Oklahoma, contact Saving Graves/Oklahoma, maybe we can help. - Linda- ----------------- Saving Graves/Oklahoma http://www.usgennet.org/usa/ok/state1 "All deaths are tragic, but clearly some deaths are more tragic than others" -George Orwell

    1. Re: [OK-CEM] Ingram Funeral Home Records
    2. Pat Weaver
    3. When I was looking for funeral home records in Fairview, I was told the previous owners took the records they had accumulated with them - the Ingrams took theirs and the Speeces took theirs. I don't know what happened to the Ingrams records but the Speece records were destroyed. The only records surviving now are the current ones at the Fairview Funeral Home. Pat Weaver Major Co. 2. Evelynne Ritter
    3. I have tried accessing the Groups' Sites and failed. I contacted my Internet Provider and they did a search for me. According to AT&T, and AOL (which my brother uses) there are quite a few systems either logging on very slowly or not at all. Seems there are multiple sun storms going on and they are messing up satellite connections. We may have to deal with this for the next few weeks. I hope this helps those of you who were having problems. Evelynne

    1. [OK-CEM] Caney Cemetery - Location
    2. Frederick Dittmar
    3. I called the OHS Library and the closest we can come to a location is: PARKHILL TOWNSHIP - SEC 24 R 23 E T 16 N 9 mile east and 5 miles south of Tahlaquah on the Cherokee / Adair County line. Looking at my state map I'd say near Hwy 51 Hope that saves some walking around the county. Fred Frederick M.
