    2. Yes, Oak Park is the main cemetery in Ripley. Thanks, Pam. My wife has lots of family buried there. And her family I think either knew or were related to everyone - Ballard and Moore. Bud IN GOD WE TRUST

    2. I see that Louis died October 12, 1984, in Hominy, Oklahoma Oh, thank you so much. If this is really my Louis, and I think it is, then Gussie was a divorcee in 1930 instead of a widow as noted in the census. I'll look forward to any additional information you might be able to come up with. Bud Caudle IN GOD WE TRUST

    2. I sure wish you first name as I have a bunch of Nave's in my tree. Dont have any death dates. And none married to a Gussie. But that could be a shortened nick name. Rebecca, thanks for replying. I finally found out Gussie's husband's name. He was Louis Ervin Nave. Have no dates or parents for him. I also found out that Gussie's maiden name was Chuculate. Wish I knew if that was her real name or what her real name may have been. I see on the LDS FamilySearch.com there are many Nave and Cuculate families that go way back to early 1800's in Indian Territory. Bud IN GOD WE TRUST

    1. [OK-CEM] Cherokee County, Surname Nave
    2. I can't find any listings of burials in Cherokee County. I'm looking for the death and burial of a man with last name of Nave. I have no first name. He died probably in 1929 in Cherokee County. 1930 census looks like the widow 'Gussie' Nave and her 3 children lived in 'Peggs (?)' township. Could it possibly be Beggs? Gussie was listed as 27 years old and her younges child was 4 months old when the census was taken. So surely her husband died in 1929 or early 1930. The two sons in this family later married two ladies in my Jones family who lived at that time in Osage County. Any help would be really appreciated. Bud Caudle in Guthrie, OK
