    3. Evy, Thank you for your response to my letter about the engraving on the grave stone in Piedmont, Oklahoma. The 3 interlocking circles with the letters F / L / T over the letter R are for the International Order of Odd Fellows. See: http://128.125.109.137/IOOF.shtml I am a 32nd Degree Mason being a member at the Guthrie Scottish Rite in Oklahoma and we have no connection with the Odd Fellows as we are two different fraternal orders. See my home page 4 - Masonic Links. The crescent "C" with the Bird and 7 Stars are completely foreign to me. There is no symbolism as such that I know of in Masonry. 2. Kathleen
    3. In about 1899 My Great Aunt and Uncle Gerome Alexander and Patience Alice Kellett were traveling with a wagon train through Oklahoma on their way to Texas. They had to stop in a place unknown so Patience could give birth to her twin sons. The babies live only a few days and were buried in Oklahoma in a cemetery according to the family records. (no name of the cemetery or town or county) I suspect it was in the south east corner of the state, but not sure. If you happen to come across the graves of these Kellett babies, I would appreciate hearing from you. Kathleen Burnett List Mom

Kiely was born about 1879 and died 1966, I don't have any dates for Flora...... Flora is the daughter of Simon (spelling?) and Jenny (Virginia or ?) Randolph. Olif W. Kiely is the son of John Kiely and Martha (Mattie) (Witherspoon) Kiely. I would like to find their burial places also. I will be thrilled with ANY information on this family..... Places? Dates? Inscriptions? Any suggestions on how to get this information? Is there more than one funeral home in Jet? Names or addresses? Thank you, Sherrie

    1. [OK-CEM] Martha "Mattie" Taylor Morgan Gamble Grant
    2. Yvonne Henson
    3. Hello All, Hope all had a restful holiday. I have some new information and more questions I hope someone can help me with. 1900 census for Pope County, Lee Township lists Lewis Gamble with wife Mattie Gamble b 5/1870, daughter Lori b 11/1891, daughter Lona E b 12/1893, step-son Will Morgan b 12/1885. It also states that Mattie is the mother of 3 children with 3 living and that Lewis and Mattie have been married 12 years. I have a marriage license for Louis Gamble age 21 of Atkins and Martha Morgan age 19 of Atkins 5/31/1888 listed in Conway County. I have another marriage license for Wain Grant of Atkins and Mattie Gamble of Atkins 1903 listed in Conway County. I have Wayne and Mattie in the 1910 and 1920 census for Hughes County Ok. Listed with them is a son Claude Grant. On the 1910 census Mattie is listed as the mother of 2 with 1 living. Now for the questions. I would like to locate a marriage license for unknown Morgan and Martha Taylor it should be about 1884. In any county between Randolph and Conway. I would like to establish that Martha's parents are Thomas "Tommy" Taylor and Mary Jane "Pop" Justice. They were from Randolph County Arkansas. I think her birth date is between 1868 and 1873. What happened to her Morgan husband and to Lewis Gamble? Did they divorce, die or quit the marriage? Why were her daughters not listed with her on the 1910 and 1920 census? Where were they? Why does she say she is the mother of 2 children on the 1910 census? What happened to Will Morgan? Does anyone have him in their line? I know Lori/Lura, Lona and Claude are deceased. They are all buried in the Holdenville Cemetery in OK. I have some emails from relatives but the information handed down is sketchy at best. If anyone has any suggestions or can help with any of these people I sure would appreciate it. This is about as far as I can go. Thanks in advance for all your help and have a great New Year with your research. yvonne _______________________________________________ Yvonne Henson WK: 719-265-0087 HM: 719-597-0298 "Be Prepared, It wasn't raining when Noah built the ark."
