There has been a major problem with certain lists on Rootsweb since last Friday. This list is one of the ones that was involved in the Crashed Server. We are again up and running. I have a favor to ask each of you. You are going to begin in a little while receiving all the messages that have been backing up in the system since last Friday. Please be understanding, USE YOUR DELETE KEY, yelling and screaming will not stop it. I am holding on for dear life. I will have messages coming to me from over 90 lists hitting me all at once along with bouncing messages and messages from those of you asking for help. If you post a query, try to put the surname in the subject line in CAPS and add dates if possible. Just keep in mind, we do have list members who delete the postings by only reading what is in the subject line, and never reading the body of the message. I have been trying to locate either the place of death or burial of James Ross MYERS. James is my ggrandfather. The last bit of data I have on James is that he was living with his daughter and son-in-law in El Reno Twp. Canadian, OK. according to the 1900 census. We have been trying for years to find the burial spots of two little baby boys, (twins). They were born in 1899 and died within a few days of their birth. It is said in the family that they were buried in Oklahoma, no county is known and it also said that a marked stone was place on their grave or graves before the family moved on with the last name of KELLETT on it. The only sister of these two little ones, a cousin of mine, died before she could locate these graves. I have taken up the torch. If you have seen such a grave I would love to hear from you. I am seeking information on the burial place of Margaret Sheppard BOATWRIGHT b about 1881 in Crawford County, AR and died about 1918 and is buried [according to family members] in Commerce OK. She and one of her children may have died in the big Flu Epidemic. I believe her husband, Elias Randall "Bud" BOATWRIGHT was a miner. Does anyone have information about cemeteries in that area?
