I tried to find his death certificate in Oklahoma City, but they didn't show it on file for that county. He died March 20, 1924. He was born Sept. 4, 1848 in Tennessee. I searched in the Eufaula, Oklahoma library where funeral home records were stored but couldn't find him. Back in 1924 could he have died in a neighboring county and been transported and buried in McIntosh County? Was this normal? Thanks for the information on the two "new"Ackleys at Sinnett Cemetery. I had hoped to publish my database printout of all Pawnee Co. Cemeteries, but have been unable to get back there the past year to finish the research. I still have 3 sections of Cleveland's cemetery to walk and several small cemeteries to check (individual family sites I have heard about.) Hopefully this summer I will be able to finish the Cleveland Cemetery (about 15 hours of reading and copying tombstone info left) andrewalk the rural cemeteries and then make the information available to the public. Dear List Members, I belong to many mailing list besides the ones I am List Mom for. I had a real eye opener this weekend on several of them and it made me appreciate each of you more than you will ever know. I saw members putting each other down, demeaning one another, screaming at each other if one could scream via an e-mail.
