Bates had a brother William Harrison Hill who also lived in Risingun, Ohio and a sister Lydia Hill who married a Leroy Earl who is the descendant of Mary Ann Putman daugter of Michael Putman and Elizabeth Bates of Scott Twp, Sandusky Ohio who is also my ancestors.Andrew Bates and Hannah Homan lived at Scott Twp, Sandusky Ohio and is buried in Trinity Cemetary. Adam T. Bates and William Bates founded Risingsun, Ohio. I am also looking for the Centennial Book of Risingsun, Ohio.
