Tonya, I do not know if anyone else has responded, but I have checked the following township cemetery books without success. These are: Washington; Plain & Montgomery townships, plus Oak Lawn in Bowling Green. Of course there are several other township cemetery books which I do not have at home. I suggest if you arrive in Bowling Green before noon to visit the Wood County Genealogical Society (WCOGS) Office in the Wood County Court House complex. It is on the first floor of the office building behind the main building. There is a sign over the door which you enter. Otherwise, or in addition to visiting WCOGS, go to the public library on the corner of N. Main St. and West Court Street (Parking behind). The local history department is on the second floor and has a complete set of the township cemetery books published by WCOGS. There is a possibility there was not a stone place for little Janet and the first books published did not have information from the sextons on the unmarked graves. The later publications are more complete. The death records for 1940 would be in the Wood County Health Department on East Gypsy Lane Road. Good luck and let us know if you have any success.
