Hi Phyllis, I am trying to research the Doel family from England. I was having no success trying to identify the Doel family line through my gggrandmother Charlotte Doel Battrick. So I thought that it might be worth a try to identify the Doel family line through my gggrandmother's sister's family. The only information that I have on the sister's family is that Eliza Pierce married Charles Holt and moved to Toledo. I know that I am assuming quite a bit, but nothing ventured--nothing gained. Yes, Bere Regis is in Dorset. I know my ggggrandparents death dates and that they are buried in Bere Regis, Dorset, England. I believe that the Doel family is from Wiltshire. I have information that perhaps the siblings of Charlotte and Eliza were born in Wiltshire. I am on the Dorset Rootsweb list. But nothing really informative yet. Any suggestions would be welcomed.
