Hi Shirley - I've been looking for the SHOE/SHUE surname since yours of 4 February. Abraham shows in the 1850-1860-1870 Census of Montgomery Township in Wood County. He also shows in the Historical and Biographical Record of Wood County published in 1897 as a trustee of Montgomery Twp. As an early settler and as a church member. None of these records show his mother or father. David Shoe/Shue shows in the 1870 Census in Perry Twp, and in Montgomery Twp in 1880 and 1900 Census. I will advise further when I can get something else.
