DOVE & SPITLER Job DOVE born abt 1823, Shenandoah Co., VA, married Elizabeth COFFMAN (b abt 1820) on June 24, 1841, also of VA. Children; Mary b 1843, William P. b 1845, Sarah S. b 1848. Martha b 1850, Adam Franklin b 1853. Family moved to OH about 1853-54, had the following children Susan b 1856, Rebecca b 1859, John b 1861. Adam Franklin married Adeline Martin SPITLER (b 11/4/1851) on 2/27/1877. Children; Perry Job b 12/26/1879, Marry Ellen b 1/22/1881 d 8/27/1883, William Corvin b 3/6/1884 & Alvin Jay b 1890. Perry Job married Sylvia Edith SPITLER b 11/24/1881, then married Mary WILLIS after Sylvia died in 1917. Perry and Sylvia's children; Carl Corvin b 11/1/1902, Mae b & d 1904, Virgil Troy (w Sylvia Irene LEVASSEUR) b 1905, Elsie Adeline b 1908 (h Harold Leroy HARTMAN), Kathryn Anna b 1913 (h Joy Fairfield CLEMENTS & Irvin Maxwell REICHMAN). Kathryn Anna & Joy Fairfield CLEMENTS had the following children: Alfred Joy, Carol Lee, Roland Eugene, and Sandra Kay. Kathryn and Ervin Maxwell had the following children; Larry Maxwell, and Sue Ellen. CLEMENTS John CLEMENTS b 1828 Canada, w Jane Elizabeth BOSWORTH b 1841 OH. Children; Mary E. b 1866, General Jinks 1868-1959, Hadarsa b 1870. On the 1870 census this family is in Crestline, Crawford, OH. On the 1880 census, the wife is listed as Eliza, b 1827 in PA. The family lives in Hoytville, Wood, OH. General Jinks married Daisy Pearl DELP 7/1875-1943 OH (f Albert DELP b 1854, OH, m Adaline b 1856, NY). Children; Rudy A. b 5/1894 (w Jeanette), Alfred J. b 9/1897 (w Florence Moorehead), Clifford L. b 1901 (w Beulah LYTLE), Roy B. b 1903 (w Mary Irene TROUTNER), Ivan C. 1905 (w Cleda), Frankie (w Gladys). b 1908, Leon b 1911 (w Margaret J.), Joy Fairfield b 1915 (w Kathryn Anna DOVE). Albert DELP and Adaline lived in Wood Co., OH on the 1880 census with children; Daisy Pearl b 1875, Icie (sp) Nora b 1879. They still live in Wood Co. on the 1900 census with Willona F. (Fern?) b 5/1891 OH, William (brother) b 11/1846 in OH On the 1900 census General and Daisy are living in Van Buren, Hancock, OH. Both are buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hancock. OH.
