Hi folks, ROE relatives recently sent me cemetery photos from Northern Michigan, where my g-grandfather Josiah ELDER's sister, Mary Ann ELDER ROE and her husband Julius ROE are buried. There are more ROE folks buried in Weston, Wood Co, and I haven't figured out exactly how they are related to Julius. Does anyone know who Julius Roe's father was? Julius was born in Michigan, served in the Civil War from Michigan, but married in Wood Co, where Mary Ann ELDER Roe was born in 1832. Then they are found in the 1860 census for Monroe County MI.
