I am researching my FELSTEAD family tree and have discovered that my G-G-Grandfather was born in America circa 1840. CUSTER,WOOD COUNTY,OHIO GEORGE FELSTEAD age 26 (b 1854) born OHIO - Parents born ENGLAND MAGGIE FELSTEAD age 23 (b 1857) born OHIO - Parents born OHIO THOMAS FELSTEAD age 22 (b 1858) born OHIO - Parents born ENGLAND ADLINE FELSTEAD age 21 (b 1859) born OHIO - Parents born OHIO CLYDE C FELSTEAD age 9mths born OHIO - Parents born OHIO PHILADELPHIA,PHILADELPHIA,PENNSYLVANIA JOHN FELSTEAD age 39 (b 1842) born ENGLAND - Parents born ENGLAND MARY FELSTEAD age 34 (b1846) born ENGLAND - Parents born ENGLAND WILLIAM FELSTEAD age 3 (b 1877) born PENNSYLVANIA - parents born ENGLAND JOHN FELSTEAD age 2mths born PENNSYLVANIA - parents born ENGLAND My G-G-Grandfather was called WILLIAM FELSTEAD and he was born AMERICA circa 1840 He returned to England circa 1860 where he married. I believe that after staying in England for about 10yrs he returned to the United States. His principal employment in England was as a TINPLATE Worker. There is some family folk lore that there is a connection with Pennsylvania. I would be most grateful for look ups for FELSTEAD's for years as far back as 1841 so that I can ascertain if it is possible that WILLIAM was born in the Ohio Valley.
