Hi Robert I looked through our various indexes for the JAY surname. The census index covers from 1820 through 1910. There is only one JAY in this one hundred years in Wood County censuses. That was a William JAY in 1910 in Washington Twp. I also looked through our index of tombstone readings in the county, our obituary index, our death records, and the Historical and Biographical Record of Wood County published in 1897. I do not see the names you are searching for anywhere. There were very few of this surname at all in the county. Sorry I could not be of more help for you.
