Dusti, The BGSU Archives have added some new evening hours to replace the Sunday afternoon hours, which have not been utilized enough to keep it open. They will now be open Monday and Tuesday until 8:00 PM (open at 8:30 AM) during the normal school schedule. This is in addition to their normal hours of 8AM-4:30 PM. It is probably best to check with the archives during school vacations for their adjusted schedule. The phone number is (419) 372-2411. As for the county offices, I am afraid they are only open during normal working hours of 8:30-4:30 M-F and usually close for any federal holiday (ei: Columbus Day Oct 9; Veterans Day Nov 11-on a Sat. this year, etc.) The Wood County Genealogical Society Workroom usually follows the schedule of the court house, since we are located in the addition. There is a possibility we could be open on weekends if someone would like to volunteer one or two Saturdays a month in the office. If someone out there would consider it, please let us know and we will train you to be in the workroom.
