Hi folks, I was happy to receive the Jan-Feb 2001 Newsletter of the Wood C. Chapter OGS today. Interested in the announcement of work on "Bowling Green Circuit Methodist Episcopal Church Records". (Page 4) Could anyone working on the project please watch for ELDER surnames? Needing especially those death dates and locations of John ELDER and Mary MOREHOUSE ELDER, about 1860, around Liberty and Portage Townships. My grandfather Martin Paschal Elder was a Methodist minister in Washington State and Montana, so I'm hoping some Wood County Methodist church records might have more information about his relatives.
