These early cemetery book indexes were prepared by individuals going to the cemetries and reading the inscriptions on the tombstones and entering that information into our books. Therefore if there is not tombstone no entry was made. We have since attempted to locate old records of burials where no tombstone exists. On the most recent books and updates of the older books include records of these burials with tombstone.
