Does anyone have any information on the Heckathorn Family? Jacob Heckathorn purchased 80 acres in 1825/26 in Milton Township, section 23. We think his wife, Sarah Dage/Dague whom he married in PA in 1825 died ca. 1830 as she does not appear in the 1830 census with Jacob and his 4 small children. By 1840 he had moved to Chester Twp, Wabash Co., IN. It seems he married another Sarah, either there or before he left Wayne County. I would be interested in any Heckathorn information.
