Hello, all, My gr-gr-gr grandfather, John (Johann) Adam Houck (Hauck) married Isabella Albert in Sugar Creek Twp. Wayne Co., OH in 1838. I have been unable to find any earlier information on them. John was born abt 1800 in Darmstadt Germany; Isabella evidently in Ohio, but I've never found any parents for her. She may have had a brother, or other relative, by the name of James Albert who purchased some items at an auction after John's death in 1861. John is listed as a physician in the 1850 census record for Centre Twp., Williams Co. OH, so I would think he was also a physician in Wayne Co. I'd like very much to find any information either of these 2 people, especially John's being a physician, but am not sure where to start looking. Does anyone out there have any suggestions?
