    3. GeeGee; 1863: James Gray was the Treasurer of Greene Twp. (pg 679). Alexander and Cyrus Gray are listed sequentially as among the first Wayne County volunteers for Civil War service. (pg 750). In 1812 the 1st sermon preached in Greene Twp. was done by Rev. Gray (pg. 681). There are hints that other Gray's, Sylvester and Esther, had roots in Massachusetts.
