Does anyone have any information on James Marshall or his family, the founder of Marshallville. I can find him in the 1830 census, but not before or after that time. Marshallville was founded in 1817. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Jim; Douglass' "Hist. of Wayne County, Ohio." 1888 lists: James Marshall as a trustee of Baughman Twp as early as 1821 (on pg. 698), and follows with further listing for 1830-1 in the same position (next page). This 9-year gap 'could ' imply that these were two individuals?? Further checking: James Marshall: is NOT on the 1814 Wayne Co. Tax List. is on page 340 of the 1820 Census.
