In 1811, my GGGGrandfather migrated from Fayette Co, Pa to Stark County, Ohio. He lived 6 miles West of Massilon. In 1832 he died and his children left Stark County. His daughter Sarah married a Goudy and settled in Dalton, Wayne Co, Ohio. He also had 2 daughters who married Michael Homan and William Homan. One of the girls married a Yockey. Both sons, Andrew and Adam went to Sandusky Co, Ohio and Wood County, Ohio. One of Andrews daughters, Mary Ann married a Phillips and went to Trumball Co, Ohio. I am searching for the ones who went to Wayne Co, Ohio. James Munn, Homans , Yockeys and Goudys. If anyone has these surnames, I sure would love to hear from you. They tell me that William Homan is buried in Wayne Co.Ohio and also his son is supposedly in the National Cemetary there. I have lots of Bates info to share.

Does anyone have any information about the parents of John Ayers who is listed in Baughman Township, Wayne County, Ohio in 1820 (p 172 of the Census Index of US Selected Counties for 1820)?
