Does anyone have the Genealogy.com CD #15? THere are some Leitner's listed on there that might be mine. Anyone? Thanks Lindsey
I'm sorry Daniel Lehr was married to Elizabeth Hartman. Her father's name was Peter Hartman and he was listed in the will of Daniel Lehr. I think Elizabeth died before Daniel Lehr in 1843 and left a minor child Isaac Lehr who is also listed in the will. Looking for any info on any of the members. Looking for the death dates and burial spots for Elizabeth Hartman Lehr and Daniel Lehr. Also Peter Hartman. Have a great Day! Thanks, Sandy
Daniel Lehr was married to Peter Hartman. I believe that Daniel Lehr died around 1843 and left a son named Isaac Lehr. Does anyone have any info on this? Sandy
Can you please lookup in the history of Wayne County the surnames Wade, Winkler, Hartman, Lehr and Boydston. Thank you. Sandy

It will be leaving New Hampshire and going back to Ohio on March 20, 2002 for those of you who need copies made. Can anyone tell me now if 1830 and 1840 census records exist for wayne County. Thanks. Lindsey

Dear Lindsey, Is there anything in the book about my pgggrandfather, Joseph Campbell and/or his wife, Elizabeth Douglas Campbell? The family moved there from Virginia in the early 1800's. I found them in the 1820 Wayne Co. U.S.Census. Am trying to find where and when they emigrated from Scotland and precisely where in Virginia they settled. This is a brick wall of several years duration. Thanks for your kind offer to help. The death certificate's of her children will have her maiden name on them, if it was known. Good advice Elissa. Is that where the phrase came from "Love thy neighbor?" I have found looking into spouses of the sibling some times will give some clues. Also look into a local library in the area that might have a family history already done. Peggy
Perhaps the obits of the children would mention that detail if the death certificate doesn't. But then it all depends on the informants knowledge and that gets lost with the passing of time. By looking at *all* the records for all the children and every possible one that Elizabeth could be in you may come across the maiden name or a clue to it. How about those neighbors in the censuses? Anyone also born in PA? It is not unheard of to trace the neighbors as you would your own family in the theory that they came together from the same place and may be related or may even BE your family. It is another technique when up against the proverbial brick wall. If anyone is new there is this site to check for certain years. http://www.ohiohistory.org/dindex/search.cfm Barbara Johnson
I have the Obit from1901 no mention of parents names except she had come with her parents 68 years previously to wooster and settled there as one of the first families. ALl the census records she is listed as her Married name. Not her maiden name. Her husband died 50 yyears before her in 1851. She died in 1901. My next question would be if her children died in 1922 and 1928 would their death certificates have to have the mother's maiden name on them? Anyone know? For those death years 1922 and 1928 was that info on the death certs. I know in other states it can be but how about OHIO? Thanks.
