    1. [OHWAYNE] SECOND MARRIAGE
    2. Hi everyone, I've been away from this site for awhile working on other branches but am now searching for possibly a marriage between Elizabeth DeLoy(e) Ventury and unknown given name CUNNINGHAM. Elizabeth born 1858 was married to Ranieri (Henry) Ventury in 1884 after she had three children to him Frank in 1877, Mary in 1881 and Henry in 1883?? Ranieri (Henry) disappeared from the family shortly thereafter and notations in family bible say she then married a man named Cunningham - don't know what happened to him but in the 1900 census she was already married to a man named Lloyd Williams. Some kind soul already looked in Ohio records for the Williams marriage but to no avail; maybe somewhere along the line this oft-married lady married Cunningham in Ohio?? I'll appreciate anything you find... Any clues will send me to Wooster or Western Reserve. Thanks Kay Santa

    1. [OHWAYNE] Daniel & Abraham Lehr
    2. Daniel Lehr who I think married Elizabeth Hartman (born 1804) and married 1825 in Wayne, Co, OH. Her father was Peter Hartman. I think Daniel Lehr died around 1842 in Wayne Co, OH. It states: Will Abstracts, Estates & Guardianships Wayne Co. OH 1812-1851. P61 Administrations of the estates: LEHR, Daniel 1843my25, ad Daniel Lehr Jr.; bd Jac May, Peter Hartman, Hen Kope $1200, Fred Buner, George Sommers and Peter Spangler. L52 Guardianships P107. abstract 477: LEHR, Daniel - Isaac 11 on Dec 10, 1842 George Summers, bd Jn Showalter & Jas Glass. 1843my25. L82 (don't know what that means? This would make Isaac Lehr born 10 Dec 1831. Are there any births from that period? P115 - Guardianships abstract 649 Lehr, Dan - Isaac 15 on Dec 10, 1846 - Abraham. bd Hen Ritter, Jn Hawk 1847my 18. L96. Do you know what that means? Maybe there were 2 Daniel Lehr families. A Jr & Sr. in Wayne Co, OH. Anyone have any info on this? Maybe Abraham Lehr was taking care of Isaac and would be in the 1850 census with him or Hen Ritter or John Hawk or George Summers. Abraham & Mathilda Fetterman's Lehr resided in Wayne Co, OH in 1850 according to Fetterman estate documents, but not in census. May have been in another county near by. (Her father's name was Peter also). Daniel lehr signed for land on 21 Sep 1823 in Wooster, he is given Ohio River Survey, Section 32, Township 17N, Range 13W. Are there 1830 census available for Daniel Lehr & Pater Hartman? Can you also look up the Peter Hartman family. I understand there are 2 different Peter Hartman families and I probably need to check both of them. i think they came from PA in late 1820's. Thank you so much. Sandy

    1. [OHWAYNE] Ebert
    2. Drew & Molli Beaverstock
    3. Hi Dennis Coupe, Thanks for your info on Ebert family. Some of it agrees with what I have. I know that Noah had 4 children: Harvey - died in WWI, Jesse (m. Clara Swinehart) died in 1944, Martha Maria (m. Alonzo Barton Smith) died in 1946 and Edward "Ned". I'm not sure about any of the other. On 1870 Census, I have a Nathan (age 56) married to Catherine (age 54) with a son, William (age 14). I also have a Joseph (age 63) married to Leah (age 58) with a son, Simon (age 26). If this Nathan is Noah's father, that would make William Noah's younger brother? According to the Census, both Nathan and Joseph were born in Pennsylvania. Other info I found on genealogy.com message board, stated that an Abraham (b. 1775 in PA) had 7 sons: Samuel, Daniel, Jonas, John, Peter, Joseph (b. 1807), Nathaniel and one daughter, Mary (b.1801). This Joseph is the same as mentioned above (m. Leah Zearing). Are all these Nathan's one and the same? Just wanted to thank you for the info and pass along what I had. If you wouldn't mind passing this along to Joseph GG/Granddaughter, maybe she and I can exchange more info. Thanks again. Molli Beaverstock (Martha Maria and Alonzo's great-granddaughter)

    1. [OHWAYNE] Michael Franks Family History and Genealogy book - reprint information
    2. For those of you who are descendants of Michael Franck/Franks of Fayette County, PA (c.1725-1793) and missed the opportunity to purchase the 1979 publication of the Michael Franks family history book, we anticipate "going to press" next month for the reprint edition. The original project was undertaken by genealogists Alice Rowley Franks and Donald Sublette, and was sponsored by the Franks Clan Association in Uniontown PA. The reprint will be available "at cost" and will also include a much-needed everyname index. We still need to finalize a few small things, including the total number of books to print. Since we will be offering the book at cost, the size of the print run has a big impact on the price of the book. Relatively speaking, the larger the print run, the lower the per-book cost. A few comments on this reprint edition - 1. It includes an every-name index (the original was not indexed). 2. This reprint edition is basically just that - a reprint of the original book, with no updates or additions to the text, and thus no additional generations are included. Some brief "reprint notes," however, have been added to the text. 3. The Franks book reprint will be hardbound. 4. The book will be available to you "at cost" - which includes the manuscript preparation and indexing costs; printing and binding costs; packaging, postage and insurance costs. The manuscript has been brought up to current publishing standards, and the book is approximately 500 pages including the index. At this point, we expect the purchase price not to exceed $40. The final price will depend on the number of books we will have printed. Please contact me at sflein@aol.com if you have any questions on the reprint, or if you are interested in purchasing a copy of this book. Thank you, Susan Franks Leininger

    2. Looking for any info on Isaac LEHR who married Mary Jane WINKLER 14 Nov 1850 in Wayne Co, Wooster, OH. I'm trying to find out who was Mary Jane WINKLER (born Mar 1829 in Wayne, OH?)birth mother. Was it Esther WADE WINKLER or Lucinda BOYDSTON? I know that Esther died in 1833 and is buried in Crownhill cemetery in Wayne,Co, OH. Does any one know how she died and is there an obit for that time frame? Does anyone know what happened to Lucinda BOYDSTON WINKLER after the death of James WINKLER? Does anyone know anything about Isaac LEHR parents? I believe they were Daniel LEHR and Elizabeth HARTMAN. I believe that Daniel Lehr died in 1840's and that Isaac LEHR may have lived with Pater LEHR family. At a brick wall. Would appreciate info on any of the LEHR, WINKLER, WADE, BOYDSTON, and HARTMAN families. Sandy in VA.
