GILBERT: ALVIN TYLER and ANSEL T. NYE all of the said County and State aforesaid dealing in company under the name and firm of GILBERT, TYLER and CO. on the other part. Witnesseth: That the said WILLIAM CORNWELL for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and twenty dollars and thirty four cents to him paid by the said GILBERT, TYLER and CO. and to their heirs and assign forever. All that tract or parcel of land situated in the County of Washington in the State of Ohio. To wit one "thirty acres" the north half of sixty acres of the west end of one hundred and sixty acres lot No. 610, Section nine, Town two, Range 10 in the Ohio Company purchase. Also sixty acres of land of the West end of one hundred and sixty acres lot number six hundred and fifteen (615) situated in section number nine (No. 9) of Townsh! ip two (No 2) of Range ten (No 10) in the Ohio Company purchase to be bounded by the north west and south lines of the said (160) acre lot and extend so far east from the west line of the said lot as to contain sixty acres with the exception of about three acres of the south west corner that the road cuts off. Together with all and singular. To have and to hold the premises aforesaid with all the privileges and appurtenances thence unto belonging or in any wise appertaining unto them the said GILBERT, TYLER and CO. and their heirs and assigns forever. Provided always that these presents are upon this expressed condition that if the said WILLIAM CORNWELL his heirs, executors and administrators shall pay or cause to be paid to the said GILBERT, TYLER and CO. their certain attorney or attorneys, heirs, executors, administrators or assigns the sum of one hundred and twenty dollars and thirty four cents ($120.34) by the first day of January A.D. 1839 together with the inte! rest that may accrue thereon in manner particular specified in a certa in note or obligation bearing even date herewith executed by the said WILLIAM CORNWELL to the said GILBERT, TYLER and CO. that then and from thereforth these presents and everything, herein contained shall cease and be void anything herein contained to the contrary notwithstanding.
