Hi list,   Elihu Clark and his wife died in 1832 and I would like to know if they left a will or probate record.  I think he owned land at the time of his death.  Does anyone have a record of events like these?   Any information on this line would be appreciated.   Thanks for your time.   John

Abstracts of wills and administrations of estates of Washington County, Ohio Doesn't have an entry for Elihu - one for John who died in 1852. I don't know how they picked the wills, every one for a period or all they could find. My 3Xggmothers third husband has a will mentioned but very scant information. He seems to have left or transferred funds and land to the elder children around the time of his marriage to my ancestor. Just confessing my confusion at this point <G> You could write the Historical Society and the Library and see if they have more. That is how I got the will for the above families daughter. Oh Ancestry has the book online.
