Hello Everyone, I just finished searching through the archives of your mailing list and then just subscribed. I have to say that there are some really wonderful people on this mailing list who have done remarkable transcriptions which have helped me greatly with my family lines. I also am finding the history of Marietta and the Northwest Territory really interesting. I'm descended from Major Thomas Stanley and his wife Mixenda Nott through their son, Francis Rowlandson Stanley through his daughter Lucinda Stanley. The Stanleys and the McKibbens were both in Marietta. Lucinda married a McKibben and so did her sister Mary; I think they did that in Illinois, however. I'm also interested in the McKibbens of course. Would like any gedcoms or help as I've just started researching the Stanley line.
