Regarding the parents of Sarah Chapman who married John Hicks. I have the same information on the family of Nathaniel Chapman as Brenda, with the lone exception for the spouse of Sarah Chapman, dau of Davis Chapman and Sally Davis. I show her married to Seth P Pratt in 1842. There is one applicable entry for Vivian Chapman that I found in a quick check of the ancestry.com family trees. It shows Sarah A. Chapman b. 1837 dau. of William John Chapman and Sarah Jane Rodgers, and that this Sarah also married John HICKS. It also shows her youngest children by Vivian Chapman born in 1877. This seems more consistent for a woman with a birth date of 1837, than a birth date of 1824. This is not my direct line, so I do not have primary research on this, either way. Regards, Kim
