I am searching for more info on John HICKS and Sarah CHAPMAN Hicks. they married in Independence township Washington Co. Feb.25,1852 Census lists his occupation as an Engineer. He died March 7,1865 possible near a place called Wade. Is that in the same township? They had a son Jeremiah in March 29,1855 and a daughter Susan 1861. Sarah after becoming a widow in 1865 married Vivian B.Chapman whom lived near by. I am also trying to find out What CHAPMAN family Sarah belong too. Charlene in WI
