Hi, Checked my book and found no Adams or Beckwith, and no Jephta or Anna Clark. In an 1864 entry, she mentions Lize (probably Elizabeth) Clark, apparently a neighbor in Little Hocking. In her list of deaths are: Abe Clark died April 4, 1882 Hannah Clark died May 28, 1882 Grany (maybe Granny?) Clark died Sept. 11, 1882 There were several Clark families in Belpre Township, including my gr grandmother Sarah Clark Bartlett. Her father was Jonas and grandfather was Jacob. Her Clarks apparently came from New Jersey and Pa. with families named Sanders and Rutan. Let me know if this is your Clark line. Aunt Ann also mentions several people named Barnes. They include Cord (or Card), Emily, John, Mercy, Milley and "Miss" (by which she means Mrs.) Barnes. All these were in the 1863-64 entries. Let me know if you want details. Have you checked Williams' Washington Co. History? I have a copy.
