No, I didn't get the chance to check out the books while I was in Marietta, but I was there then all those books were being delivered to the Genealogy Library at the end of July. WOW!!! They are "HUGE" old books. I over heard the person from the County Auditor's office tell someone there that the records could be donated either the Ohio Historical Society or the local history library. I sure am glad to see that these records were kept at the local library, where I think they belong. If anyone visits the library, check them out. I can't wait until I get back to Marietta to see what all "goodies" I can find in them with my ancestors. From what I understand there is "TONS" of info in them.
